![]() ![]() I read several accounts that mention S3/S4 is tied to the display driver, etc, so I thought it was worth a shot even though I was under the supposition that it would not garner change. As mentioned, yesterday I started testing a different GPU believing that the issue may be related to NVIDIA drivers. They are still in their boxes as I am currently testing a GPU swap. I've gone so far as to RMA my PSU and buy a third motherboard, this time an Aorus z490i. Changed Win10 sleep/power configurations. My specs: MSI z490i, i7-10700(non-k), Corsair LPX 32GB RAM, Samsung 970 M.2, RTX 2070 MSI Ventus, and Corsair SF600 Platinum. A motherboard swap only stopped the occasional boot loop I was experiencing, and the frequent prompts to enter setup via F1/F2. It does resume as if its coming back from sleep, which is even more odd. The PSU will audibly "click" over but then the PC shuts off and restarts from the BIOS prompt as if it were rebooting. For me, the PC refuses to wake directly from sleep (s3, s4). I've posted about this issue in a few subreddits but had no responses. My specs are almost identical to your own and I've had a very similar problem for the past two weeks. If anyone could make some other suggestion that would be greatly appreciated. I've tried every power setting configuration in Windows 10 and made sure the mouse/keyboard are set to wake.I've replaced the MOBO once as MSI stated that was the problem but issue still occurs with new MOBO and MSI wants me to now do a second RMA.Stripped the board down to the CPU, M.2, and a single stick of RAM.Updated BIOS (used the Beta version MSI sent).Tested the PSU using a paper clip as suggested by Corsair, also tested on another build. So far to date I have done the following: I cleared CMOS and was able to boot the PC immediately afterwards. After making this change my computer would go to sleep and when I clicked on the mouse it wouldn't wake and would just click multiple times. Everything booted just fine and was running great until I made a change in the BIOS to allow wake on USB. I recently built a new Windows 10 PC with an i7-10700k and MSI Z490i board.
